Can I bring my own food?

Yes, you're welcome to bring your own food for your private function. Please note, however, that outside drinks are not allowed at One Playzone.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Outside drinks are not allowed at One Playzone. However, if you wish to bring your own drinks, a flat $50 corkage fee applies. This fee covers cups, chilling, and cleanup.

Question 3

Am I able to purchase coffee?

Accepted Answer

Yes, coffee is available during your function. Our cafe will be open, and one staff member will be there to assist you. You can either open a tab, or we can charge your guests as they order.

Question 4

Do I need to supply my own plates, cups, cutlery etc?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you will need to supply all your own crockery, cutlery, platters, napkins, sauces, etc. for the function.

Do the staff serve food during the function?

Accepted Answer

Our staff will be available to assist on your event; however they do not walk around with the food. A table will be set up where the food cooked will be placed.

Do I need to clean up at the end of the event?

We ask that you pack up all of your belongings, but otherwise our staff will take care of cleaning after the event. We ask that any tables that were moved are returned to their original location and that all rubbish is placed in the bins supplied and positioned around the centre for you. Our staff will do the rest. There is one exception of a cleaning charge of $100 if we are required to clean up vomit or toilet accidents within the soft play area.

What are the hours of hire?

All private hire functions are a minimum 2 hours. You are required to leave Playzone at the prescribed time. One Play Zone will allow 15 minutes to vacate the premise after your function has finished. If you take longer than 15 minutes we will have to charge you for the extra time.

Question 8

When can I come in to set up for my function?

Accepted Answer

You are able to come in to start setting up 30 minutes prior to the commencement of your function. Guests will be allowed in from the start of the function.

What about the sound system?

Our sound system can play music from Spotify or YouTube. An iPad is connected and available for your use as well.

Question 10

Can I extend my function time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can extend your function time, provided you give 48 hours' notice and there are no bookings scheduled immediately after yours.

Can we bring glitter and sparklers?

Accepted Answer

We request no glitter, sparklers or party poppers in the centre and recommend helium balloons are weighted.

Will the staff supervise the children in the playground?

Accepted Answer

Two (2) One Play Zone staff are present for the security of our company, however your function leader is responsible for the event. You need to take control and make sure that all Play Safe Rules are being followed.

What are the Play Safe Rules?

Accepted Answer

No running. No climbing up slides – only for sliding down. No over boisterous behaviour. No flips. No climbing on walls. Be considerate of all, particularly watching out for any younger children. Socks must be worn at all times. No food or drink is to be taken into the equipment.

If our guests cause damage or break anything, are we responsible?

If there are any breakages or damage, or if our premise is left in an unacceptable state, One Playzone will contact you about the cost to rectify the issue.
